They Call Me Tatar Salad

  Hi! I created this whimsical scrapbook layout to welcome my youngest niece to the family using the Pooh themed May Release from Brutus Monroe . I'm super excited to say that I'm just days away from welcoming another nephew into the family and I can't wait to meet him. This birth will take my niece and nephew count to 7! Needless to say, this collection came at just the right time. I created a cloudy sky background using masks, cutting dies, and ink, and then embellished it with stenciled sun rays and a die-cut stitched rainbow that I cut out of pastel cardstock. I used foam adhesive to attach several of the cut and stamped details to the page to add dimension to an otherwise simple design. A stamped and colored Pooh bear is dropping in from a balloon to say, “welcome little one.” I used two stamps to create the sentiment.
